Heyyyyy,
Last week, I dedicated the entire letter to the topic of ‘modeling’, which is when you look to another person and mimic their behavior, so you can adopt some of their characteristics.
But during last week’s letter, I lied.
I said…
“I don’t want to be good, I want to be great.”
I lied when I said that I want to be great.
I don’t want to be great.
I want to be THE BEST.
And if I want to be the best, then I have to model myself off of the best.
Which is why I am applying to work for Mr. Beast.
I saw an open role to join his team, and it seemed like the job description was written just for me.
So I’m gonna chase down this opportunity like a hungry cheetah looking at a 2 day old gazelle.

Generate an image of me pursuing a job with Mr. Beast
Getting this job isn’t even about money, it’s about being around the best and elevating my capabilities.
I’ve been running my own business for almost 2 years and feel like my edge is starting to become dull.
I need to be sharp as a razor.
I crave being the best version of myself.
And I’ve realized that I thrive when I’m surrounded by talented people and hard problems.
It is like my competitiveness dial gets turned to 10.
I start thinking back to those days in high school and college when I was obsessed with running.
Having teammates and rivals gave me a standard to exceed.

I showed up at practice every single day like I had something to prove.
I sacrificed my social life and tasty treats, so that I could put in the miles when no one was looking.
And it paid off.
130 mile weeks took my mile time from 4:25 to 4:06.
But those are just numbers. It was the person that I became in the process that made me proud.
And it is all because I was in the right environment, surrounded by people that pushed and expected the best from me.
Sure, I’m probably jynxing myself by announcing my pursuit of a job on the Mr. Beast team. Here’s the thing…
If I get it, I get.
if I don’t, I don’t.
But either way, I’m gonna go after this with 110% effort and find out.
Stay tuned.
