Ditching Personal Growth For AI Robots
Well… well… well…
Here we are. It is late Sunday night and I am just writing this newsletter.
For the perceptive among us, you may have noticed that for several weeks, this letter has been delivered later, and later, and later into the weekend..
Want to know why?
Because after 30 letters, week after week, I am getting tired of writing about personal growth - you know, the core focus of this newsletter.
Ruh, roh.
THIS NEWSLETTER IS HAVING AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS.
I’ve decided that I am going to be introducing different topics going forward and re-focusing the purpose of this newsletter.
Personal growth will ALWAYS be a core component of this newsletter, but just a piece…
Because I care about more than just personal growth.
And right now I am really interested in Artificial Intelligence and the power of generative tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney.
I should be writing about AI right now, because, for once, I am ahead of the curve. I know how to ride this wave and I have a gut feeling for where we are headed.
This hit me earlier today when I presented at a “Productivity Summit“ and discussed “How To Amplify Your Impact With ChatGPT“ and I was (admittedly) on-fire.🔥
I am genuinely excited about AI and it showed in how I carried myself throughout the Zoom call. I just wouldn’t have had the same infectious energy, if I was doing a presentation about a cold plunge, you know?
If I’m going to carve time out of my week to write a newsletter then I HAD BETTER BE EXCITED ABOUT IT. Otherwise, the entire project will eventually fail and will have displaced more important activities, throughout.
I’m tip-toeing around saying it, but let me be direct:
I will start introducing more topics that interest me (and I mean REALLY interest me), effective immediately, or else this newsletter will be put to rest.
That means that I’m going to write about whatever the heck I want to.
And you know what?
I should have been doing that since the beginning.
All the best to you.
